Requirements

Appropriate education and experience to successfully perform the responsibilities/activities of the role
Knowledge of supplier’s process, production, procurement, and engineering departments
Ability to maintain schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control
Ability to support flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules
Ability to determine possible and actual shortages
Ability to estimate and log production rate and time expenditures, and establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates
Ability to handle direct material buying
Ability to monitor production to ensure promised delivery dates are met
Ability to review master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alert proper authorities
Availability for work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
Completion of all required training and adherence to individual job requirements
Adherence to GxP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), accurate and complete documentation, rigorous quality control, and commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control
Compile records on the quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock, or in production
Support the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules
Determine possible and actual shortages and initiate corrective actions
Apply specialized knowledge to perform tasks and achieve objectives
Follow procedures with some decision-making authority, requiring job-related training, attention to detail, and reliability
Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control
Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements
Contribute to the overall compliance of the organization and commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
Use knowledge of supplier’s process, production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action
Estimate and log production rate and time expenditures and establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates
Handle direct material buying
