Position Overview

  • Salary:
    • U.S. Base Salary Range: $63,000 - $80,000 USD
    • Canadian Base Salary Range: $73,000 - $110,000 CAD (Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.)

Juniper Square is digitizing private markets, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to areas like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital. This role is within the growing Investor Services team, focusing on high-priority workflows for Fund Administration and Deal Services customers. The Associate II will serve as a trusted partner to real estate private equity customers and their investors, acting as a generalist across a broad set of services including administration solutions, payments, and compliance. This role offers opportunities to develop project management, communication, customer management, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of Juniper Square's evolving software and the real estate private equity industry.
  • Utilize Juniper Square software to support fund administration and investor services customers.
  • Perform workspace management tasks for clients, including investor position creation and workspace accuracy review.
  • Support customers during fundraising by understanding their goals and timelines, and articulating the value of Juniper Square's software and processes.
  • Monitor customer health and provide feedback to internal teams.
  • Balance fulfilling customer requests with adherence to scope of work and SLAs.
  • Manage treasury-related activities, such as logging LP contributions and handling payments.
  • Investigate payment breaks and chargebacks, coordinating with bank partners to resolve exceptions and ad-hoc requests.
  • Identify and flag areas for improvement, including operational controls, to team leads and/or managers.

Requirements

  • 1-4+ years of experience in fund administration or investor services related roles.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to doing the right thing for customers and the business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, identifying problems and taking ownership of finding and implementing solutions.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and has a vision for building something new and significant.
