Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in a scientific subject area. Expertise and experience with global clinical trials for medical products are required, with clinical training and/or experience being strongly preferred. A minimum of 6+ years of experience following receipt of a doctoral degree in a clinical research setting, such as biotech/pharmaceutical industry, academia, government, and/or non-profit, is necessary. Exceptional client and site personnel facing skills and familiarity with various clinical trial designs, including complex trials and study outcome interpretation skills, are essential.

Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Clinical Science Liaison will provide clinical development expertise to a multi-disciplinary team, advising clients, internal collaborators, and interacting with sites and investigators in early through late-stage medical product development. This role involves establishing relationships with KOLs/PIs for peer-to-peer clinical/medical support to prioritize trial recruitment and quality delivery, and to address scientific trial queries. Responsibilities include supporting the clinical trial proposal process with trial design considerations and operational enhancements, contributing to clinical trial scientific deliverables through scientific review of key study documents, performing KOL mapping and coordinating advisory boards, and supporting Clinical Development Leads with competitive intelligence for clinical development plans and strategic program assessments.
