Requirements

Minimum of 6-8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in Built-In-Quality, Document Control of engineering/design execution and associated activities
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Complete understanding of Engineering specification documents and fabrication guidance notes
Knowledge of Piping Spools for Design, improve and standardize Fabrication and assembly processes of large bore pipes
Ensuring that all piping systems comply with relevant specifications, codes, and standards such as ASME B 31.3 and B 31.8
Knowledge of the installation and maintenance of piping systems, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and managing project timelines and budgets
Knowledge of diagnosing and resolving issues in existing piping systems and performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Strong knowledge of document control
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Basic understanding of Data Gathering & Analysis (ability to collect and synthesize data objectively)
Basic understanding of Analytical Thinking (knowledge of techniques/tools for root cause analysis and solutions)
Basic understanding of Decision Making and Critical Thinking (ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions)

Responsibilities

Checklist management – Create, update, and maintain BIQ checklists. Share check item numbers with design engineers and ensure proper documentation
Control issuance of document numbers, revisions and formatting according to project standards
Maintain updated records of all quality related documentation and ensure easy traceability
Maintain all the Vendor Documents from requisition stage to Approval from different Vendors, update and maintain records of all required documents and ensure easy traceability
Manage document revisions and maintain a comprehensive record of all project related documents
Support managers and engineers by ensuring timely document submissions and approvals
Co-ordinate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure documents align with ISO or other quality management systems
Preparation of MTO, BOM from Piping 3D Models
Preparing technical reports and quality audit documents
