Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years of Program or Project Management experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech environment (preferably cross-cultural)
  • At least 10 years of drug development experience in distinct phases of development, in different disease areas, with a broader view on drug development (post-clinical/commercial/scientific background)
  • Must have Sponsor/Biotech experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic background

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project’s overall delivery, collaborating with the project team to ensure quality, cost, and time objectives are met
  • Lead the cross-functional project team to meet or exceed deliverables
  • Manage projects of increasing complexity (multi-service, multi-region/country, therapeutic complexity, financial scope)
  • Own high-level plans and progress from pre-clinical into commercial stages
  • Document and manage overarching activities and milestones for indications, including downstream impact and justification of changes to budget and resourcing
  • Partner with the Asset Strategy Lead and function Leads (EDST/AST)
  • Compile and own the integrated cross-functional project plan, translating corporate strategy
  • Serve as the lead between the sponsor and the organization at the project level; delineate responsibilities for secondary project leads when scope requires
  • Drive and manage overall delivery of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality)
  • Ensure financial stewardship at the project level (contract understanding, resource alignment to budget, management of out-of-scope activities, drive Con Mod negotiations, team execution to timelines)
  • Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations to achieve optimal delivery
  • Drive risk identification and issue resolution at the project level (RBQM/RESOLVE)
  • Ensure project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory and project-specific requirements
