Requirements

10+ years of lived experience using screen reader technology
Experience with accessibility guidelines and regulations, including WCAG 2.2, Revised Section 508, and ADA Title II
Experience applying accessibility knowledge across a wide range of Content, Platform, and Web applications
Strong knowledge of how people with different disabilities use assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, screen magnifiers, keyboard-only access) and the ability to effectively assess accessibility barriers
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to present testing results, findings, and recommendations clearly
Adaptability with evolving processes, prioritizations, and deadlines
Experience teaching others about accessibility and accessible technologies
Strong understanding of HTML, ARIA roles, and semantic markup is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct manual accessibility testing of websites, widgets, and digital content using AT tools (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver, Zoom)
Evaluate products against WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508, and ADA conformance guidelines and standards
Document accessibility issues, bugs, barriers and provide actionable recommendations for remediation
Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to improve accessibility outcomes
Participate in user testing sessions and provide feedback based on real-world AT usage
Maintain clear communication of test results, including screenshots, documentation, steps to reproduce, and help with the prioritization of accessibility issues
