Requirements

Associates degree or High School diploma with formal technical training considered in conjunction with extensive, relevant experience. BS Preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in Production Management
Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
Knowledge of use of computerized management systems
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
Manufacturing leader with entrepreneurial spirit, excelling at process improvement, driving efficiency, and growing other leaders

Responsibilities

Maintenance of the facility, including understanding and explaining basic mechanical theory to direct reports
Coordinating vendors, projecting and establishing preventative maintenance programs and schedules
Directing the maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational
Ensuring all staff members adhere to OSHA general standards, Safety SOP’s, P/L management, and Labor Cost Management
Workforce Planning/Scheduling
Process Improvement/Quality efforts (Six Sigma Lean)
Managing all plant operations to ensure budgetary goals are met or exceeded
Ensuring products meet or exceed QC standards using specified SOP testing methods
Managing any special projects/improvements as directed
Collaborating with Plant and Branch Managers on the east and central region to ensure accurate and timely delivery of production requirements
Collaborating with regional sales, management, and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction
Interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees according to corporate guidelines and policies
Ensuring timely and accurate data entry related to product sales, purchasing, and receiving of raw materials and supplies
Managing shift scheduling, performance evaluations, safety training documentation, disciplinary actions, associate development, and specific job-related training
On-call required (including late night phone calls and occasional on-site visits on weekend days)
