Requirements
- Assembly and/or general manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift or carry materials of various weights and sizes
- Ability to perform frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift
- Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, flexible, and able to work with a variety of staff
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision, manage multiple projects, and work well under pressure
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in a production line, assembling parts for the Mower Assembly line (basic to complex assembly)
- Place parts on Mower to progress down an assembly line
- Use hand tools, wrenches, impacts, etc
- Pick up, move, and sort small parts
- Unpack parts from cardboard boxes as required
- Operate forklift and/or heavy equipment or machinery in assigned area if certified
- Work at a fast pace to meet production quota while ensuring Safety and Quality
- Report Safety incidents or property damage to Supervisor immediately
- Report any defective material or questionable condition to production department supervisor
- Maintain the manufacturing work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner utilizing Lean and 5S principles
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
