Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment effectively
  • Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards
  • Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements
  • Ability to handle parts and tools with precision
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands)
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States (no sponsorship provided)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble basic components using hand tools and equipment engineered for light assembly
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision, such as attaching, labeling, and packaging parts
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality and functionality standards
  • Document issues encountered during assembly using tools and standards to verify product quality and functionality
  • Track and document production metrics, such as completed units or defects
  • Identify and segregate defective parts for review and document quality issues
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, use PPE, and report potential hazards
  • Perform basic equipment checks
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control to address challenges and improve processes
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and store tools and equipment properly
  • Follow step-by-step written or verbal instructions
  • Be flexible by working overtime, cross-training, and adapting to new processes or technologies
  • Other duties as assigned
