Requirements

  • Exposure to latest verification methodologies like UVM and ability to enable complex feature verification suites
  • Architect and develop block level verification environments for sub-system and fullchip using System Verilog and UVM methodology
  • Define, architect, code, and deliver verification suites/tests for ASICs using front-end simulator tools (VCS/NC)
  • Verify large ASIC blocks independently and rapidly, sign off for tape-out with analysis of code coverage, functional coverage, and gate level simulation
  • Work closely with logic designers to resolve bugs and software developers to assist in software and bring-up

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to a project team of Electronic and VLSI engineers along with development partners responsible for all stages of VLSI design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, and testing
  • Collaborate and communicate with management and internal partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution
  • Represent the team for all phases of larger and more complex VLSI development projects
  • Participate as an independent member of project team of other VLSI engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for VLSI prototypes and products
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
