Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Aruba products under test, test tools, applications, server infrastructure, routing and switching infrastructure, network management applications, industry vertical solutions, and client devices
- Ability to understand customer success criteria for Proof of Concepts (PoC)
- Capability to run portions of the Aruba mobile first test plan
- Experience working with Aruba subject matter experts, stakeholders, technical experts (PLM, Dev/R&D, QA, TME, etc.)
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days per week from an HPE office)
- Ability to travel onsite for testing activities and customer discussions
Responsibilities
- Fully understand the customer’s success criteria for a PoC
- Work with account teams and customers to document relevant test cases for PoCs
- Stage test topology and resolve obstacles to ensure smooth PoC execution (hosted at HPE or customer site)
- Execute complex Proof of Concepts (PoC) to finalize technical evaluation of Aruba products during the sales cycle
- Document all test cases and deliver full reports to customers and account teams
- Manage logistics and materials for testing activities, and assist in prioritization and management of testing
- Incorporate new competitive features and products into test kits and update test plans
- Perform knowledge transfer and training for field teams across multiple regions
- Coordinate with sales leadership to enable field teams to run tests in other locations
- Assist with customer-facing field test reports
- Travel onsite to run testing activities and participate in discussions with account teams and customers to position Aruba competitively
- Gather technical requirements from customers and account teams
- Work with customers and account teams to identify success metrics to measure PoC success quantitatively
- Create detailed and complex test plans
- Work closely with technical experts (PLM, Dev/R&D, QA, TME, etc.) to vet test plans
