Requirements

7+ years of experience in the Financial services industry in an Engineering role that requires knowledge of investment workflows and products
Master’s level education with a focus on engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics or related fields
Experience with leading engineering teams
Experience with creating production-quality software based on Research
Experience with emerging LLM offerings from industry leaders
Experience in python & related framework/libraries
Experience with data engineering (ETLs) and analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
Experience in modeling including machine learning, econometrics / statistical analysis and various optimization techniques
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Build AI engineering solutions, both LLM and ML based and ensure production quality design and deployment
Partner with Research teams across BGM to take proof of concepts to products and solutions
Create common tools and platform solutions that can be useful across multiple BGM use cases, leveraging and adapting Firm technology where applicable (e.g. trustworthy AI, model testing, pdf parsing tools)
Work with BGM’s data engineering teams to source new datasets for AI modeling and prepare existing ones for AI use
Work with BLK’s central AI office and other AI-forward teams at BlackRock, especially in Investment organizations to identify synergies and opportunities to partner
Create alignment and help build a community with AI, Research and data teams in Gurgaon and within BGM globally
