Position Overview
Centari is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join our Applied Legal Research team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your corporate law background to build generative AI applications for leading law firms. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enhance our data extraction platform for complex legal work. This position is ideal for someone eager to shape the future of generative AI in legal services through strong problem-solving skills, transactional law knowledge, and a proactive approach.

Requirements
- Education: J.D. (or J.D. equivalent)
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a transactional attorney at a leading Canadian or multinational law firm within a transactional practice group.
- Experience with complex M&A and debt finance transactions is a plus.
- Skills & Aptitude:
- Exceptional technical aptitude. No coding experience is required, but a high level of comfort with learning cutting-edge systems is essential.
- Proven interest in prompt engineering and leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for legal work.
- A generalist mindset and adaptability to quickly learn new areas of law.
