Responsibilities

  • Review customer specifications and drawings (one-lines, elevations and schematics) for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare a complete bill of material (ABOM & FBOM) which satisfies the order requirements
  • Develop the necessary electrical schematics and instruction for drafting
  • Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers
  • Verify that the Customer’s purchase order, and provide feedback to Project Manager
  • If customer approvals are required, arrange to have the appropriate drawings made available to the customer for review and approval
  • Provide assistance to the manufacturing operation as required, including technical assistance to assembly and test personnel at factory and meeting with customer engineering personnel for final inspection or witness test
  • Provide the customer with the required documentation package
  • Provide field assistance whenever required to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide assistance and coordination with Expeditor and Manager or Supervisor
  • Ensure thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures and appropriately apply them in compliance with government laws (e.g., Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, ISO 9000 & 14000)
  • Support Project Manager on order transfer from commercial engineer or sales
  • Assist Project Manager to handle kick off meeting with related department according to project schedule
  • Work with Project Manager to make sure the project delivery will match margin, delivery date and quality requirement compared with as sold proposal or order
