Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Apigee API Management platform
At least 2 years of experience in API development and integration
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Understanding of Generative AI and LLM integration with APIs
Proficiency in Apigee API Gateway, including API proxy development, policies, and security
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and JWT
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
Programming experience in Java, Python, or Node.js
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to AI/ML implementation in enterprise applications is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certifications in Apigee, Google Cloud, or AI/ML frameworks are a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage API proxies using Apigee for secure and scalable integrations
Implement API security policies, traffic management, and monitoring
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models into API workflows
Optimize API performance and ensure high availability
Work closely with DevOps to automate deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Provide technical guidance and best practices for API development and AI integration
Monitor API usage and generate analytics reports for stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues promptly
Identify and resolve issues in key business systems
Assess system performance and apply solutions to enhance functionality
Ensure smooth operation of applications to support organizational success
