Requirements

Experience with Android development, particularly product-focused engineering
Proficiency in Kotlin (app is 100% Kotlin)
Familiarity with MVVM (Model View ViewModel) and Coordinators architecture
Knowledge of RxJava, Retrofit, Moshi for API calls
Experience with Dagger for dependency injection
Understanding of Coroutines (used for most new features)
Experience with Room for persistence and repositories for data interaction
Familiarity with Compose for the design system
Skills in writing unit tests for ViewModels, Coordinators, and logic classes
Experience with testing Compose screens and snapshot testing (e.g., with Happo)
Comfortable with GitHub Pull Requests for code reviews
Enjoys learning new things and working in small, interdisciplinary teams
Ability to build polished user experiences, well-tested resilient code, while moving fast and iterating
Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days a week in the office in Barcelona)

Evolve the native mobile app as a product-focused Android engineer

Balance well-tested resilient code with fast iteration
Work in a small, autonomous product squad with iOS Engineers, Backend Engineers, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists
Contribute to overall company goals, impacting what and how to build (e.g., personal banking product, customer support tools, or mobile platform improvements)
Participate in weekly Android discipline meetings to discuss tools, techniques, problems, and improve codebase/processes
Report to an engineering manager with 1:1 meetings every 1-2 weeks for growth and development
Collaborate across the company, including knowledge-sharing sessions
