Requirements

  • Experience with Android development, particularly product-focused engineering
  • Proficiency in Kotlin (app is 100% Kotlin)
  • Familiarity with MVVM (Model View ViewModel) and Coordinators architecture
  • Knowledge of RxJava, Retrofit, Moshi for API calls
  • Experience with Dagger for dependency injection

  • Evolve the native mobile app as a product-focused Android engineer
  • Build polished user experiences
  • Balance well-tested resilient code with fast iteration
  • Work in a small, autonomous product squad with iOS Engineers, Backend Engineers, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists
  • Contribute to overall company goals, impacting what and how to build (e.g., personal banking product, customer support tools, or mobile platform improvements)
  • Participate in weekly Android discipline meetings to discuss tools, techniques, problems, and improve codebase/processes
  • Report to an engineering manager with 1:1 meetings every 1-2 weeks for growth and development
  • Collaborate across the company, including knowledge-sharing sessions
