Candidates should have commercial experience in Android development (Kotlin), the ability to choose the right tool for each challenge, learn new tools and technologies, and highlight risks and propose efficient solutions. Experience with Android Jetpack (Arch components, Compose, Navigation, Room, Hilt, WorkManager) and Kotlin Coroutines is required, along with a good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and typical architectures, including MVVM/MVI and DI.
The Android Engineer will work with modern technology stack including Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, Jetpack Compose and other Jetpack libs, participate in the design and development of a mobile app and its integrations with other backend systems, contribute to System Design, collaborate with other Engineers, implement cool ideas and have impact on millions of users, and operate and support systems running in production.
