We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Anaplan Engineer to support our Finance organization in delivering scalable, high-impact workforce planning solutions. This role will serve as the bridge between Finance and IT, translating business needs into robust Anaplan models and driving continuous improvement across planning processes.
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Cloud/Tenant Engineer with proven expertise in AI technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Anaplan cloud environments, ensuring secure and efficient operation, and leveraging AI to enhance business outcomes. This role will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that drive value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Anaplan tenant(s) including user provisioning, workspace management, and model lifecycle support.
- Integrate AI solutions into Anaplan models to improve forecasting, planning, and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Anaplan solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of the Anaplan environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and best practices for cloud platforms.
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices for ongoing knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
- Support integration efforts between Anaplan, AI tools, and other enterprise applications.
- Stay current on Anaplan platform enhancements and emerging AI technologies; make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Strategic & General IT Skills
- Contribute to the enterprise roadmap for planning, analytics, and data integration by staying current on EPM and finance tech trends.
- Identify opportunities to streamline planning cycles, improve forecast accuracy, and introduce automation or AI-driven enhancements.
- Promote data quality and governance across financial planning systems.
- Operate in an agile environment, managing backlogs and prioritizing enhancements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud platform administration, including at least 1 year of Anaplan environment support.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML tools and methodologies, and integrating AI into business processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with scripting, automation, or integration platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Anaplan Level 1 and Level 2 Model Builder certifications.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise data integration and API management.
- Familiarity with AI solution quality criteria and continuous monitoring practices.
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle PBCS, SAP BPC, Adaptive Insights).
- Familiarity with predictive modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, Azure ML) and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Work-At-Home Requirements
- Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) is required.
- Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
