Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with one to three years of experience in tax compliance or accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and fluency in both English and French, both written and spoken. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and adapt to changing circumstances are also essential, along with problem-solving and analytical capabilities, the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a professional, trustworthy, and motivated demeanor.

Responsibilities

The Analyste fiscal(e) will be responsible for preparing and filing indirect tax returns (such as U.S. sales tax and use tax, and U.S./Canada/Quebec TPS/TVQ), preparing and filing direct tax returns (such as property tax and gross receipts tax), contributing to the collection and analysis of data for income tax reporting forms, researching and interpreting indirect tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance, supporting tax audits and responding to requests from tax authorities, maintaining accurate tax records and documents to support audits and compliance, collaborating with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure appropriate tax treatment of transactions, contributing to tax planning strategies to minimize indirect tax obligations, and supporting the tax team in various projects and initiatives.
