Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 2+ years with an Advanced Degree
  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven hands-on experience developing and delivering Tableau-driven BI solutions, including dashboards, analytics, and recurring reports
  • Expertise in data visualization best practices and the ability to create intuitive and impactful dashboards
  • Strong proficiency in Python/R and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Proven hands-on expertise in distributed computing environments / big data platforms (Hadoop, Presto, PySpark, etc.) as well as common database/data warehouse systems (SQL, Hive, etc.)
  • Ability to query and display large datasets

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex and scalable Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and effective data visualizations
  • Lead quality assurance (QA) activities for BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and functionality from design to implementation
  • Perform data cleansing/wrangling, including parsing and aggregating messy, incomplete, and unstructured data sources to produce data sets for predictive modeling or dashboards
  • Query and handle large datasets from distributed computing environments (e.g., Hadoop, Presto, SQL, Hive) to prepare them for visualization
  • Optimize Tableau workbook performance by leveraging best practices for handling large volumes of data
  • Utilize VisaNet data and Visa’s analytical capabilities to develop, standardize, and deploy scalable solutions
  • Communicate complex concepts and analytical results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop and grow exceptional internal client relationships
  • Leverage Generative AI Tools to increase the team’s efficiency and knowledge sharing across different structures
