Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 2+ years with an Advanced Degree
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven hands-on experience developing and delivering Tableau-driven BI solutions, including dashboards, analytics, and recurring reports
- Expertise in data visualization best practices and the ability to create intuitive and impactful dashboards
- Strong proficiency in Python/R and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Proven hands-on expertise in distributed computing environments / big data platforms (Hadoop, Presto, PySpark, etc.) as well as common database/data warehouse systems (SQL, Hive, etc.)
- Ability to query and display large datasets
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex and scalable Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and effective data visualizations
- Lead quality assurance (QA) activities for BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and functionality from design to implementation
- Perform data cleansing/wrangling, including parsing and aggregating messy, incomplete, and unstructured data sources to produce data sets for predictive modeling or dashboards
- Query and handle large datasets from distributed computing environments (e.g., Hadoop, Presto, SQL, Hive) to prepare them for visualization
- Optimize Tableau workbook performance by leveraging best practices for handling large volumes of data
- Utilize VisaNet data and Visa’s analytical capabilities to develop, standardize, and deploy scalable solutions
- Communicate complex concepts and analytical results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop and grow exceptional internal client relationships
- Leverage Generative AI Tools to increase the team’s efficiency and knowledge sharing across different structures
