Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and structure commercial real estate financing transactions: perform cash flow modelling, property and borrower analysis
  • Assist in preparing credit/loan applications, credit memos, term sheets, and investment memoranda for review by senior management or credit committees
  • Perform due diligence: coordinate third-party reports (appraisals, environmental, technical), review legal/tax/regulatory/compliance issues
  • Help in deal execution: manage closing process, liaise with legal, brokers, borrowers, external advisors
  • Support origination: participate in sourcing new opportunities, preparing pitches/presentations, market research, and competitor/sector analysis
  • Coordinate with internal teams (risk, legal, compliance, middle and back office) and external shareholders (valuers, insurers, rating agencies) to ensure smooth transaction flow
  • Prepare financial analysis of scenarios, sensitivity tables, stress tests, valuation
  • Help during deal syndication/capital markets/structuring for debt distribution if relevant
