Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as analytics, business, math, statistics, economics or computer science)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience conducting analytical analyses in a business setting and telling stories with data or a recent graduate with relevant experience
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Data Analytics or other quantitative discipline a plus
  • Resourceful and a motivated problem solver with demonstrated ability tackling complex problems, drawing inferences from data, and using analysis skills and business acumen to identify solutions
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment with rapid change and ambiguity
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a competitive environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for analysis and optimization of product experience and acquire and retain valuable customers
  • Partner with stakeholder leadership to develop reporting, dashboards, and analyses that drive improved performance and decision-making
  • Provide insights into customer and product behavior and engagement to the rest of the business
  • Partner closely with the data warehouse team to understand data availability and the flow of data through various systems
  • Develop data inquiries, and conduct data exploration and data mining to determine program effectiveness and predict future performance
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure insights are leading to action and measuring the business impact
