Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of proven experience in Community Management, Communications, or a similar field, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, excellent verbal and written English skills, familiarity with online community platforms and social media, and initiative-taking mindset. Experience in the maritime industry or AIS technology is beneficial, as is familiarity with the Atlassian platform and Intercom, and additional languages are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The AIS Community Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the AIS Station Owner community by identifying and onboarding new members, monitoring AIS coverage and identifying areas for improvement, evaluating station applications, maintaining communication and support for contributors, initiating and implementing outbound campaigns for network growth and engagement, suggesting process optimizations, generating content for various media, coordinating logistics, reporting on network growth, providing basic technical support, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
