Senior Fullstack Engineer (Applied AI)

Position Overview

Contentsquare is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join exciting product initiatives focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves extending our AI CoPilot product to new areas, enabling users to gain insights through natural language queries. The position offers a unique "startup within a startup" environment, emphasizing rapid iteration from idea to product, with direct customer feedback loops. While working with LLMs, this is a software engineering role, not a machine learning position.

Responsibilities

• Focus on product development and early-stage product iteration.
• Participate in user interviews to validate product hypotheses.
• Rapidly iterate and prototype solutions for data-related questions using LLMs and other ML techniques where appropriate.
• Contribute to building foundational software that leverages LLMs, considering new ideas and libraries with discernment.
• Collaborate with a distributed team across the US and Europe.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Particular background and strong experience in TypeScript.
• Extensive full-stack web application development experience (8+ years), preferably in a data-related industry.
• Strong understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations, and how to navigate them.
• Experience bringing an application built on top of LLMs from inception to market.
• Familiarity with various LLM providers and models, including their relative tradeoffs.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced development environment with customer involvement.
• Ability to "fail fast and start over" to ensure product-market fit.
• Awareness of how to evaluate the performance of an LLM-based application.
• Our product tech stack primarily uses TypeScript, with various front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
