Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of engineering experience in various tech environments, particularly in product-driven companies. Strong Python skills and a deep understanding of end-to-end backend systems and databases are required. Experience building projects with LLMs and Agents, including production-level projects or MVPs, is essential. Prior experience in startup environments, either as a founder or an early-stage engineer, is preferred.

Responsibilities

The AI Agent Engineer will own the development of the AI Agent and the role of LLMs within Luma’s main product, taking a creative approach to explore the possibilities of AI Agents. They will collaborate with design and product engineering teams to ensure the agent aligns with Luma's tone and functionality. Additionally, they will work with the product and infrastructure engineering teams to develop scalable architecture for millions of users while maintaining low latency, and engage with the applied research team to integrate new GenAI features into the agentic workflow.
