Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience
- Interest or major in agriculture related degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel independently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with exposure to elements, dust, and high noise
- Ability to work hours beyond normal, including weekends
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Minimal job-related experience and basic skills to perform routine tasks under close supervision or clearly defined procedures
Responsibilities
- Scout fields and make recommendations with assistance from supervisor
- Conduct and analyze results of soil and tissue sampling
- Perform field applications and inventory control of feed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
- Assist in product deliveries to customers with timeliness, efficient communication, and required paperwork
- Expand knowledge on the operations side of a retail farm center
- Complete all responsibilities in compliance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures
