Requirements

  • BSc in related subject
  • Norwegian and English Language Skills
  • Experience working in offshore field environment
  • Experience working on the Norwegian continental shelf

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring drilling parameters (surface system parameters)
  • Operation of downhole tools (MWD/LWD)
  • Performing Pressure Evaluation duties as per client well programs, if required
  • Performing engineering programs as requested by client
  • Input at the wellsite of geological and engineering data
  • Ensuring QA of data is of the required level
  • Prepare and QA, Surface Logging well Reports
  • Ensuring effective communication with other members of the crew, client representatives offshore and onshore coordinator
  • Monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters in order to complete operations in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate fleet of downhole measurement and logging tools while drilling
