This is an on-site position requiring full-time work from the location in Lubbock, TX. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred skills include being bi-lingual (English/Spanish), experience with referral processing, knowledge of medical terminology and billing codes, experience in a medical office, EHR experience, and being well versed in insurance terminology.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
Candidates with supervisory experience in healthcare, medical office background, EHR proficiency, knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology, referral processing experience, and bi-lingual skills in English/Spanish will stand out.
