Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in additive manufacturing processes
- Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, powder handling, and post-processing
- Familiarity with AM machines and related equipment
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain AM machines according to established procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Perform all core AM tasks including powder handling, sieving, depowdering, heat treat, bandsaw, and media blast
- Follow process documentation to ensure part and process quality standards are met
- Conduct in-process checks and support process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safe handling of materials and equipment
- Maintain detailed notes on key shift events, communicating clearly with the next shift
- Provide informal guidance and support to less experienced technicians
- Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting common AM machine or process issues
- Support onboarding of new technicians by demonstrating proper procedures and safe practices
- Share expertise and help coach team members on tools, workflows, and basic troubleshooting
- Assist in updating and maintaining training materials and work instructions
