Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in additive manufacturing processes
  • Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, powder handling, and post-processing
  • Familiarity with AM machines and related equipment

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain AM machines according to established procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed
  • Perform all core AM tasks including powder handling, sieving, depowdering, heat treat, bandsaw, and media blast
  • Follow process documentation to ensure part and process quality standards are met
  • Conduct in-process checks and support process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safe handling of materials and equipment
  • Maintain detailed notes on key shift events, communicating clearly with the next shift
  • Provide informal guidance and support to less experienced technicians
  • Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting common AM machine or process issues
  • Support onboarding of new technicians by demonstrating proper procedures and safe practices
  • Share expertise and help coach team members on tools, workflows, and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist in updating and maintaining training materials and work instructions
