  • Analyze triggering events like misuse scenarios and changing environment conditions
  • Utilize existing automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEEE 2846) to define development processes and requirements
  • Develop engineering solutions based on industry standards
  • Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment using techniques such as HAZOP, FTA, FMEA, STPA, and misuse analysis
  • Identify potential functional insufficiencies and triggering events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align ADAS feature safety concepts with the overall system design strategy
  • Derive verification and validation test cases
  • Provide feedback and improve internal development processes
