Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or other related field
  • 1-3 actuarial exams
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Good time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Preferred experience with Excel, Word, and database software and/or programming experience
  • SQL and Python are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of related products and actuarial processes
  • 1-3 years of actuarial experience preferred
  • Employer Stop Loss or Employer Benefits related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support to actuarial staff by preparing and analyzing statistical information for actuarial computations.
  • Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, offering comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The annual base salary range for this position is $67,170 - $83,960 USD. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities based on role and performance. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level.
