Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams
- Minimum of 3 years related experience, or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the office location(s), with in-office presence 1-2 days per week (unless accommodation granted as required by law)
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and implements risk contracts, including conducting experience analyses, pricing, filing, and settlement work
- Prepares management reports supporting new capitation initiatives
- Assists in training of actuarial trainees, analysts, and specialists
- Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects
- Completes very diverse and complicated projects and performs very complex actuarial studies
