Requirements

1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

Accurately process and verify a high volume of invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors
Prepare and execute payments, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
Maintain positive relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
Work closely with other members of the finance team to support month-end closing and financial reporting processes
