Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and verify a high volume of invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors
  • Prepare and execute payments, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
  • Work closely with other members of the finance team to support month-end closing and financial reporting processes
