Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading an accounts payable team, preferably in a global environment, having worked for a US company
  • High proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite and Coupa), Google suite, Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who can work effectively with people from different departments and time zones
  • A leader who enjoys training others and is motivated by the opportunity to build and manage a team

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process a high volume of invoices from global vendors, ensuring proper coding and approvals
  • Audit and approve employee expense reports within Appzen and Concur, confirming compliance with company policies
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external A/P-related inquiries, resolving issues and providing timely support through our JIRA ticketing system
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling vendor statements and potential accruals
  • Drive continuous improvement of A/P processes, including leading the onboarding and education of new team members as the department expands
