Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance or relevant field
2–4 years experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations
Background in Shared Services supporting Finance Operations for Taiwan, Japan, or China
Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese and/or Chinese fluently
Strong knowledge of invoicing processes and tax regulations for Taiwan and Japan
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Outlook and Word
Hands-on experience with major enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft

Responsibilities

Validate invoices received and ensure compliance with invoicing requirements and supported by legal and statutory documents for Taiwan/Japan
Process invoices received from scanning in compliance with invoicing and tax regulations for Taiwan/Japan
Monitor invoices sent to coding or approval
Verify all supplier information ensuring correct payments go to correct supplier sites
Create and update vendor master records in compliance with process policy
Pay all invoices and expenses that are due and demandable
Manage queries related to processing of urgent requests, taxes, payroll, recurring payments, and all concerns related to invoice payables
Support month-end activities in the closure of the AP ledger and own month-end activities relating to area in closing of the AP ledger
Manage queries and process walkthrough for audit
Meet and prioritize own targets/deadlines and those of others to agreed standards and procedures
Embed and adhere to process improvement opportunities identified by the invoice processing management team in line with P2P standards to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, and drive implementation of recommended improvements
Ensure compliance to all P2P processes and procedures, ensuring all P2P processes are SOX compliant
Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the resolution of obtaining correct coding information
Escalate issues appropriately and ensure resolution to completely put items to closure
Undertake appropriate intervention to see invoices through to payments
