Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting (MBA in Finance or CA-inter preferred)
  • 5–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with strong exposure to payroll processing across geographies
  • Exposure to Xero, Quickbooks, ChatGPT, Hubspot
  • Proven track record of driving automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements in AP and payroll
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in accounting / payroll software and comfort with adopting new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process invoices, purchase orders, and employee expenses accurately and on time
  • Ensure proper coding, documentation, and approvals for all transactions
  • Reconcile AP accounts and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including accurate accounting, and payment processing
  • Maintain accurate payroll records for audit and respond timely to queries
  • Support audits for AP and payroll
  • Timely accounting of entries to aid management reporting
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive tasks within AP and payroll
  • Partner with internal teams to implement AI-driven improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
