  • Expertise in flux analysis for OPEX/COGS with detailed analysis and insights
  • Capability to independently propose solutions for non-routine and new activities and leverage practices across entities
  • Knowledge of enhancing internal control systems, developing and implementing policies & procedures
  • Experience recommending, supervising, and improving financial and accounting controls in business units in China
  • Skills in enhancing inventory and fixed asset management with internal controls
  • Understanding of PRC statutory accounting, global financial policies & procedures, and compliance with PRC regulations and laws
  • Ability to manage relationships with business partners, bankers, auditors, regulators, and professional advisors

Responsibilities

  • Cover 2 legal entities with 2 ERP systems, including all accounting areas
  • Lead flux analysis in OPEX/COGS with detailed analysis and insights
  • Make proposals or solutions for non-routine and new activities independently and leverage practices cross-platform entities
  • Enhance internal control systems, develop and implement internal control policies & procedures
  • Recommend, supervise, and improve systems of financial and accounting controls and procedures in various business units in China
  • Enhance inventory and fixed asset management and implement internal control policies and procedures
  • Supervise and identify correct invoices for posting; ensure all invoices are properly approved per company policy and DOA
  • Ensure invoices and employee expense claims are posted in ERP timely and accurately
  • Supervise all domestic and overseas intercompany and DHR intracompany payment transactions
  • Ensure payments are accurately and completely arranged; identify and resolve payment issues, escalate if required
  • Handle ad-hoc payments timely, ensuring compliance with company and group policies (e.g., urgent payments, vendor down-payments)
  • Reconcile and analyze general accounts and financial reports related to AP & Accrual accounts
  • Deal with capital expenditure and run wrapper requests
  • Supervise accountant team for day-to-day accounting, payment activities, payment controls, and regulatory cash planning in support of business operations in China
  • Ensure compliance with local PRC statutory accounting and global financial policies & procedures, and PRC government regulations and laws
  • Cooperate with internal and external auditors for quality, internal control, annual report, and tax audits
  • Manage and maintain relationships with business partners, counter-parties, bankers, auditors, regulators, and professional advisors
  • Manage local statutory reports, group financial reports, and management reports
  • Proactively identify, rectify, and follow-up errors and causes of errors; resolve complex or critical process issues
  • Coordinate accounting management of various business units in China
  • Lead training and guidance of accounting staff
  • Handle ad-hoc special projects as assigned by the supervisor
