Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles
2+ years in public accounting or auditing
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Knowledge of NFTs, blockchain technology, digital assets subledger and digital asset markets is desirable
Proven track record of managing accounting operations
Excellent analytical skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with ERP systems
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment
Passion for innovation, creativity, and the transformative potential of NFTs in the digital economy

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, and expense process
Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including consolidations, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
Prepare and review financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Support tax preparation and filings
Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Evaluate and improve accounting systems, workflows, and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
Conduct financial analysis and provide ad-hoc reporting and support as needed
Drive business growth by providing financial insights and recommendations
