Requirements

BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
CPA license or eligibility preferred
Minimum 3–5 years in public accounting or industry accounting function
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting
Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp, Concur is a plus
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in handling complex accounting tasks and delivering high-quality work (Entry Level Skills)
Ability to create asset and liability reconciliation schedules, assemble complete financial statements with minimal supervision, and suggest journal entries with supporting schedules (Intermediate Skills)
Leadership potential: understanding scheduling of team members, allocating work, performing in-depth financial analysis, and applying/researching complex accounting principles (Advanced Skills)
Availability for fully remote work with hours 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST / 8:00pm – 10:00 pm PST, PHT 1:00 am to 7:00am and noon to 2:00pm (PHT); may require one weekend per month with two weekdays off

Responsibilities

Manage and execute complex accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities (journal entries, accruals, variance analysis)
Create and analyze financial reports compliant with GAAP and client-specific requirements
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
Manage and execute complex accounting and advisory engagements for diverse clients
Review financial statements, journal entries, and ensure compliance with GAAP
Assist with client onboarding and relationship management
Oversee work performed by Associates and provide coaching and feedback
Perform technical research and draft clear, concise memos
Identify opportunities to expand services and add value for clients
Utilize ERP systems and accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
Mentor junior staff and support overall team development
