Candidates must possess a college degree in Accounting, along with a CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent designation. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a controllership or accounting/finance role is required, with a strong understanding of US GAAP.
The Regional Financial Controller will manage all APAC accounting and financial reporting matters in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring strong internal controls across the region. This includes providing US GAAP guidance, performing technical accounting research, and reviewing accounting memos. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely submission of internal and external reporting, coordinating the financial statement close process, managing audits, and certifying quarterly results. Additionally, the controller will support global accounting initiatives, ERP migrations, process improvements, and integration efforts, while also evaluating accounting teams and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
