Requirements

  • Previous work or volunteer experience (warehouse experience not required)
  • Willingness and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Willingness to walk for extended prolonged periods
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to various operations
  • Willingness and ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Constantly stand on concrete floors while retrieving parts/tools and completing tasks
  • Walk on concrete floors for distances up to 80 feet frequently to constantly
  • Sit on scooter or creeper occasionally
  • Climb up and down stairs, platforms, and ladders up to 15 feet occasionally
  • Rotate and bend at the waist occasionally
  • Reach with hands/arms in any direction frequently, including overhead and static positions

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of processes using mobile equipment and scan gun technology to move material throughout receiving dock, warehouse, assembly, paint, and fabrication areas
  • Ensure proper transactions are completed timely and inventory tracking is accurate using scan guns
  • Work safely all day every day
  • Work as a team to ensure parts and components are available when needed
  • Utilize powered vehicles to unload material from trailers and move it to proper locations
  • Own your work, actively seeking to learn and improve for highest adherence to safety and quality
