Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other company associates
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Basic personal computer skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
Heavy physical activity level: performs strenuous daily activities, primarily productive/technical
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive objects and materials' attributes
Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
Ability to lift and stack boxes weighing 45 lbs
Availability for varying shift schedule (8, 10, or 12 hours, T-F 5PM-3AM, can vary during peak season or with little notice)

Responsibilities

Work on the tile press
Inspect tile, catch, and stack tile
Lift boxes with tile and stack tile boxes
Work on the inspection table and wrap rolls of carpet
Inspect carpet
Inspect and box 1st quality tile
Move and stack tile boxes weighing 45 lbs
Label boxes
Inspect and wrap roll goods
Housekeeping
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and Human Resources
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
