Senior Motion Designer (Contract)

Candidates should possess an animation degree or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 2-3 years of professional animation experience, and a strong portfolio/demo-reel showcasing an understanding of timing, momentum, effects, weight, and anticipation, including a solid grasp of the ‘12 Principles of Animation.’ They should have experience animating in Unity using keyframes and the graph editor, proficiency with Unity’s particle system and particle animation optimization, a solid understanding of drawing and visual design principles, and experience storyboarding.
The Character and VFX Animator will create high-quality character and effects animations for the mobile game, collaborate with artists, game designers, and engineers to define and improve animation pipelines, work with production and project managers to scope deliverables, and create storyboards planning out the animation to be done. They will also work with art and animation leadership to define direction and solve creative challenges, and contribute to the overall artistic vision of the game.
