Responsibilities

  • Support DFx reviews with design and mechanical engineering teams
  • Assist in the design and documentation of fixtures, layouts, and processes
  • Help plan and track development build activities
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from builds and test results
  • Support preparation of PFMEAs, flow diagrams, and hazard analyses
  • Document findings and present progress to engineering teams
  • Provide hands-on support for simple fixture or tooling design using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, etc.)
  • Learn and assist in basic process development tasks such as adhesive dispensing, fastening, and laser processes under supervision
  • Contribute to risk assessment and problem-solving discussions with the NPI team
