Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing Transmission projects to ensure all phases are completed efficiently, within scope, on schedule, and within budget
  • Work closely with personnel to engineer, design, site, permit, and construct assigned projects
  • Assist project managers with securing approval for permits and licenses, budgets, materials, contractors, and other resources
  • Assist with the development and process for evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, construction, material, and equipment procurement
  • Ensure all aspects of projects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies, regulations, and laws
  • Support project close out and Project Managers in project documentation
  • Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive status reports on assigned tasks or project segments to the Project Manager
  • Maintain compliance documentation and evidence in the corporate database for regulatory audits
  • Coordinate regulatory audit preparation activities to identify and correct potential non-compliance issues
  • Assist with developing processes, procedural controls, and implementation mechanisms for compliance with standards
  • Consult with operational personnel regarding compliance standards to maintain continuous improvement in operations and reliability
  • Work on projects to develop analytical, audit, research, testing, and validation skills
  • Respond to emergency situations as part of emergency restoration assignments, potentially outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location
