Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited university program seeking a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Physical Chemistry
Highly motivated and self-driven with demonstrated innovative problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in one or more of the following areas: analytical method development (HPLC, CE, and dissolution), vibrational spectroscopy (Raman, NIR, IR), X-Ray diffraction, thermal analysis (DSC and TGA), particle size distribution (PSD) measurement, optical and electrical microscopy
Strong understanding of analytical and spectroscopic techniques

Responsibilities

Develop and execute analytical methods and material characterization to support drug product development
Analyze, review, and document analytical data in compliance with company requirements
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including formulation scientists, analytical chemists, process engineers, and process modelers, to enable drug product formulation development and manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot and resolve related issues
Work with mentors on a guided research project within a PD Project Team for ~10 weeks
