Position Overview

  • Salary: $128,093 - $192,140 (depending on experience)

This role is for a Workday Integrations Senior Principal Consultant (Lead Consultant) who will support both business and technical teams. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex inter-system problems and developing expertise in SaaS, SOA, and web services. You’ll bring technical skills, business context awareness, and a strong work ethic to a team with a positive attitude and a collaborative culture, focused on customer success.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4 years of Workday certified Integration consulting experience.
  • Technical Lead Experience: Acted as technical lead for at least 1 phase 1 implementation.
  • Module Experience: Experience with the Student module or with Extend is preferred.
  • Certifications: Current Workday Studio and CCTPP integration certification held for over 2 years.
  • Extend/Orchestrate: Extend and/or Orchestrate experience preferred, but not required.
  • SOA Tools: Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.) and experience with SOA tools (SAP NetWeaver, Oracle Fusion, Workday Studio or other middleware platform).
  • ERP Implementation: Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on one or more ERP implementation projects.
  • Education: B.A. / B.S. in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, computer science, or other relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at various levels. Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills. Outstanding Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead phase 1 implementation projects with a large team of integration developers.
  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and drive requirements sign-off.
  • Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
  • Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform.
  • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns to project management.
