This role is a “go-to” practice leader providing expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team. The individual will assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW’s). They work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads, acting as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management. This person will assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring that the work/life balance of consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team for 3+ years.
  • Fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoys fast-paced work environments.
  • Ability to work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
  • Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants to ensure consultants are adhering to the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday and the Cynergy Implementation Methodology.
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities.

People Development

  • Perform the role of mentor and coach.
  • Analyze team skills and provide for cross-training to maintain teams’ ability to staff projects appropriately.
  • Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability.

Performance Management

  • Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process.
  • Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of project for your entire team.
  • Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis.
  • Drive bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team.
