Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with current Workday Financials Certification with multiple domains and a Foundation Data Model (FDM) Certification, which is desired. They should have at least 9+ years of Workday Financials implementation or AMS experience, along with experience handling multiple AMS engagements. Experience with General Ledger and one or more of the following: Accounting Center, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Contracts, Projects, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Grants Management is required. Previous experience in thought leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Workday Financials Functional Architect will serve as the “go to” leader, providing expert guidance and delivery for Financials engagements, resolving client requirements through tailored Workday financial solutions, overseeing all functional areas on assigned AMS engagements, designing and delivering future-ready Workday solutions, mentoring junior project resources, and serving as an advocate and escalation point for the EM and functional team. They will also partner with customers to build roadmaps, assist engagement/project managers and team members, ensure cohesive structures and project communications, track teams’ performance, and participate in Sales Orals meetings, assisting with or reviewing estimates for Change Orders. Furthermore, they will assist Solution Architects with estimating projects, participate in discussions regarding functional areas, and assist with or reviewing estimates for Change Orders in functional areas.
