Requirements

Candidates should have over 5 years of in-depth software design knowledge and extensive development experience in C/C++, along with a strong understanding of low-level Windows internals and the Windows API, including user and kernel space. Proven experience debugging memory corruptions, contentions, and system performance issues, as well as a solid grasp of networking fundamentals and experience working effectively within a team to ship major features and releases are required. Bonus points include experience with Sandbox technology, developing endpoint security software, system tracing, Linux user mode/kernel programming, and Mac OS user mode programming.

Responsibilities

The Windows Software Engineer will focus on the research and development of dynamic analysis capabilities for Windows operating systems, working on core OS subsystems such as file systems, memory, process, and networking. They will design and build software applications to enhance the efficacy of Windows dynamic analysis environments, collaborate with product management teams to integrate new features into the threat analysis platform, and work jointly with security researchers to understand the evolving threat landscape. The role also involves driving innovation by developing novel approaches for threat detection and potentially contributing to Linux and Mac systems analysis capabilities.
